Tangled Up In You (Fleur De Lis Series Book 1): By A.L. Vincent

Image
* ARC Review*    I have been so lucky to be a part of this book as a Beta reader and now a reviewer. Vincent does an amazing job bringing these great characters to life. I love all of the characters, settings and the plot. The Fleur De Lis series is set on the Gulf of Louisiana and revolves around a group of childhood friends that call themselves The Boonies. The Boonies are now all grown-up, reuniting and dealing with adulthood.    Tangled Up In You stars Emily and Noah, first loves coming back together after death, war and a disastrous marriage. Vincent handles the issues perfectly, giving us all of the emotions and tension needed to make it feel real and hook you into the story . She also introduces us to the rest of The Boonies and sets us up to learn more about them in their own stories.   I am excited for the next book in the series to arrive. I cant wait to see how Carly finds her way. I have NO complaints about this book. Five Stars from me. Find it on Amazon! GENRE

Some are mainly about sex. Some have a story line and sex.  This book has an incredible story line with some sex.  I was incredibly pleasantly surprised. The author did a great job writing the story and I was enlightened a bit.   Who can’t love a sexy, sweet, caring fire fighter?! Let’s add a small restaurant owner who knows her way around a kitchen to make some yummy sounding food.  Then let’s add a little kink into the story. Oh, I forgot to add that the baker, Beth, is the  dom  and the firefighter, Drew, is the sub. That’s got to lead to one hot story.  If that’s what you’re thinking then you are absolutely positively correct!!!    This story is enj

*I received a copy of this book from Wickedly Innocent Promotions in exchange for a fair and honest review.*   Isabelle is supposed to graduate  highschool  and move on to Julliard. Ian plans on graduating high school and enlisting in the army for four years then attending college.  Fate has different plans. Connor, Ian’s best friend, steps in during the hardest time in everyone’s life. What is meant to happen in the future?  Will it be what anyone wants or will it be up to fate?   This book is a roller coaster of emotion, from the first page to the last page.  There are ups, downs, and in-betweens.  Your heart will break, your heart will stop, and your heart will swell with pride.  This is one of those books that has more emotions than you will want to handle at one time, but the torture is absolutely worth it.  This book is perfect. It amazes me how well the author wrote the story and how well she was able to express the emotions.    The descriptions and details tha

**Disclaimer: I received a copy of this book from Goddess Fish Promotions in exchange for a fair and honest review**   Miya Jackson is pretending that her life is perfect in New York. She has the perfect job and great friends.  The only problem is that she realizes that she is utterly and completely miserable in New York and happy in Dead End, TX when she comes home for her sister’s wedding.  Can she face Shawn again after four years of being apart? Is there still love between them? Will she believe what Shawn has to say?   This was a decent read.  It had a really good story line and idea but I found parts of the story dragging.  I think that it drug for me because the description wasn’t incredible. That being said, this was a fun story.  It’s a story that I think so many people could relate to as something they or someone they know have gone through.  I love reading about realistic story ideas as it makes it much more fun to read.  I enjoyed Miya’s character as w

Independent reviewer for  Archaeolibrarian  I Dig Good Books.   And Readers Isle- Escaping Reality in Fiction! 4/5 (Very Good)   I received a copy of this book from the author in exchange for a fair and honest review.   Wow, this book packs some incredible detail with an incredibly full cast!    This story is very well written and incredibly detail oriented. I don’t think that you could read this book and come away and say that you couldn’t visualize the scenes or the people. There was some depth to the story line and it was very well thought out.    This was a longer story which I did enjoy. In some books that are part of a series, the story line is drawn out between multiple books when it could have been done in fewer books. This is definitely not the case with this author. She writes a full story in the first book of her series. It isn’t full of filler material but full of a deep story with a great background story building you up for the current st
