Aimee had the ultimate crush on Miles until Nick crushed her hopes and dreams. In her free time with her best friend, she designed an elaborate blog with stories of her future life with Miles, the lead singer of Seconds To Juliet.  Once Nick dealt her the crushing blow of the truth of how Miles felt about her, she asked Becky to delete the blog completely and was on her way to forgetting Miles. Becky said she would delete the blog, but did she? How could Aimee spend two entire weeks traveling with STJ while her parents were overseas with Doctors without Borders until her grandma was free to babysit at home? She had a plan, she would just ignore Miles and keep away from the band. Would that plan really work?

This book was the ultimate fan girl book. It was fun, silly, serious, romantic, sad, and a happily ever after. I enjoyed the book very much. It was fun to hear the story of a girl who knew the lead singer of the band before they came to fame.  The way Nick treated his sister and the story he told Aimee was completely believable, brothers are protective and jerks like that sometimes. I couldn’t put this book down and thought the story line flowed very well. I think it definitely channeled a little fan girl in myself and took me back to my younger days. It’s always great to read a story that is able to channel those memories as a young adult!
This was my first introduction to this author, and boy am I glad! If you have some inner fan girl in yourself, whether it’s a band, singer, actor, actress, or author, you will enjoy this book!
