Sidney and Simon have a heated past, a heart broken Sidney, and events that leave Sidney changed for ten years. She tells herself it’s better for herself, her family, and everyone else included if she just stays away. Simon makes it a point to run into her and see her much against the protest of Sidney. When her parents 35th anniversary approach will she be strong enough to avoid the advancements of Simon, can she leave her heart closed off to him while forced to be around him? Just what would happen if the walls around her heart were to start crashing down?
I enjoyed this book very much. I loved the way that the author wrote every single character in this book. Well, maybe not Judith, but who could like her?  Each character has a way of interacting with each other they make you, the reader feel like you are part of their crowd. The relationship between the boys and the girls is not one to ignore. There is fire, ice, and somewhere deep down, love.  Simon was a character you want to hate but as you dive deeper into his character you can’t help but start to warm up towards him. Sidney has some issues that she has to deal with, and even at end of book one I’m not clear on that those issue fully entail!
There are times when I was sure what was going to happen next, but nope, not yet. My heart wanted the happily ever after for Simon and Sidney but I don’t think it’s going to be as simple as one would hope. This book made me laugh out loud in multiple locations, which is always a nice thing to come across. It was a breath of fresh air to see how well matched the girls were up against the guys. The guys never had the upper hand before the girls got it back. It was a back and forth, give and take, friendship that was fun, light, and a breath of fresh air. Finally, there were some pretty heated and very well written bedroom scenes, hold on to your panties ladies when you read this!
Definitely go out and check out this book. I think you will enjoy this book with its laughter and pranks!
