I received this book from the author in return for a fair and honest review.

Abby has had a horrible life so far. She holds herself accountable for her sister’s death. She is surrounded by a cloud of depression that weighs her down every minute of every day. Her Dad is pushing her to live the life that her sister would have; to become a surgeon. All she wants to do is become a writer. Enter Evan, a perfect human being to Abby, which has her questioning everything in her life and what really makes her happy. He has her opening her heart to love again. Who will get in their way? Can Abby or Evan withstand the future that is waiting for them?

Oh my goodness. Kimberly Blalock, you write one heck of a story!! I surged through so many emotions while reading this book, I couldn't figure out what to feel. My heart was breaking constantly for Abby, then for Evan as we learned his story.  I gasped, I sighed, I awed, and I laughed during this story.  This story is full of emotional turmoil for both Abby and Evan and the story wouldn't have the full affect that it does on you without it.  Even though there are numerous heartbreaking scenes there are even more that will leave you wanting a cold shower. This author knows how to write sexy scenes to leave the reader breathing heavy and thinking WOAH!

I recommend this book to you without a doubt in my mind. You might have to slip on your big girl or big boy britches to get through some special scenes but it is worth it. Trust me, take the leap, and start reading.
