Black Dawn (Titan Series Book 8); By Cristin Harber

    Black Dawn, the crazy anticipated 8th novel in the Titan Series by Cristin Harber, has finally arrived. And I have to say Harber does not disappoint.I LOVE THIS BOOK. She gives us just as much high-octane action and steamy romance in Black Dawn as the rest of the Titan Family. 
    The Titan Group is a private security agency, handling the dirtiest, off the books, highest- stakes missions the world has to offer. Each member of the Titan group has their own novel and Black Dawn is the story of Parker Black, Titan's IT genius. In each book, Harber gives us new twists, heartaches and joys. Even thought each book in this series can be read alone (except for prequels), you will not want to. The Titan family carry's over and grows with each book. You will want to read this series in order to really get the full effect.
  Cristin has a great way with words. She can really pull you into a scene, making you feel the emotions and smell the gunpowder. Also, you really get to know her characters. They have clear physical descriptions and each personality is unique and memorable. Black Dawn is just as good and just as deep, introducing us to new friends and enemies, and drawing out strong emotions. I laughed, I cried, I screamed, I wanted to punch something. All of which is pretty normal for a Harber novel.
   All the Titan novels share some of the basic romantic military/suspense genre warnings. There is an absolute shit-ton of graphic violence, sex, and strong language. Awesome, right? However, Black Dawn goes  heart-breakingly deeper and more intense with the violence this time, hitting closer to "home." And it may be hard to read for some. But it is so worth it. I LOVE THIS BOOK. I LOVE THIS WHOLE SERIES!
Edit:: I have to add... Ya know how the male lead in a romance novel is always called the Hero, whether they're really hero's or not??? Well the Titan men, Parker Black especially are really heros. At home or aboard.  On the clock, or personal time. Real (fictional) badass heros.

   Linda Lael Miller is a talented writer. She brings us an entire family, from the frontier days to today. And not once does she skimp us on personality and flaws in her characters. Every person and animal in her books is completely unique and memorable. From Angus McKettrick, a rough and tough cowboy from the frontier days, to Bamboozal, the pony Austin got for his tenth birthday. I love this family. I can probably trace their family tree easier than my own, and they are fictional.    Aside from the awesome characters, Miller also gives us unique plot twist in each book.
