Faithful Peace (The Faithful Trilogy Book 3); By Anna Bishop Barker

Image
Finally peace in Faithful.     It's been a long journey since we were introduced to Ester and the lovely people of Faithful, Tennessee. But it's finally the end of the road, and there's peace in Faithful. Or so they thought. Barker wraps up this trilogy  with one last stand. The suspense builds flawlessly until the battle that will finally give Ester her peace and her freedom from the demons of their past.    Though this book is part of a trilogy, Barker does a good job a catching up Essie's backstory in the book. I think this novel will standalone but you will want to know more about the residents of Faithful, so I suggest reading them in order.    Warnings for the Faithful Peace are a little different from the rest of the series.  Ester has a very dark past. Though Barker doesn't directly explain the horrid things she went through, we still know it happened.  Most of the violence and sexual content in the novel is implied....

Half Moon Hero (Half Moon Series Book 3) By Taryn Bradley

Image
My Jinx is finally here!!!  I've been crushing on Jinx Monroe for a while now, since he was still the town bad boy in Half Moon Holler. It has been awesome to watch him grow as a character and develop into Half Moons very own hero.  Bradley has done a great job with this series. She brings the the small town of Half Moon, Alabama to life with vivid characters and their totally intertwined crazy lives. Each person in town has a unique backstory and personality. I can probably give you more town gossip about Half Moon at this point, than I can my own town. Half Moon definitely holds a special place in my heart.  And Jinx Monroe? I'm pretty sure that boy could own the whole heart.. ( Ya know, if he did actually exist on the physical plane and wasn't a million miles out of my league.)    I suppose I should stop swooning over Jinx and give you some warnings. Basic Half Moon stuff, really. There's definitely nosey neighbors, lots of F-bombs and an extremely hot alpha-...

The Protector (ACES Series Book 2) By Cristin Harber

Image
I'm freaking TF out right now.    I just finished with The Protector  and, whew buddy, that was intense. And deep. And sad. And hott. And amazing.    And I need a drink.   If you're not a Titan/Delta/Aces reader already, no biggie, this novel totally stands on its own. But if you are Team Titan, you're gonna be freaking TF out too.  Cherry bombs and Easter eggs everywhere.  Familiar faces and catch phrases had me SQUEALING  and my husband looking at me like I'm a freak.    But on top of that we get introduced to some new faces too! I'm loving Chance a.k.a "Midas" and the rest of the ACES team we get to meet. Some time has gone by since  The Savior and we are getting see the team grow and Boss Man bristle.   I am such a Cristin Harber fangirl for life. As always, she brings us badass characters and a tense plot. Harber brings the heat. From gunfire and rooftop helo extractions to st...

Delta: Ricochet (Delta Series Book 4); BY Cristin Harber

Image
I've been waiting what seems like eons for Colin. EONS, I tell ya. And He didn't disappoint.  Of course he wouldn't, I wasn't really worried. ;) Harber's talent shines through the words like always. She can pack so much action, drama and suspense into one book it amazes me.  It truly blows my mind how she can weave such an intricate World. Not just one story, but an entire world is packed into her stories. Even though Ricochet is a standalone novel, the characters, the world, bleed through in to her other novels making for an amazing reader experience. My warning for this book are basically the same as all other Harber novels; sex, language, bad guys, violence, gangs, drugs, guns, alcohol, more sex. Ya know, all the fun stuff. As always, Cristin gives us amazing characters and a flawless romance.  I am sad that this is the final book in the Delta series, but I am looking forward to what is next in the Titan World.  I can't wait to see what the #sneakyhooker i...

JAX (The Titan Series Book 11): By Cristin Harber

Image
I've met Jax before this book, but I didn't like him.  We first meet his character in Bishops Queen, and have a few other encounters in Locke and Key, but I didn't like him through all of it. He was such a jerk and I thought there was no way Cristin could turn my opinion of him around. But I WAS SO WRONG.  She did.   She has developed this character so perfectly that I think he might be my favorite team member of all!!!  **shhhhhh Don't tell Javier. Or Grayson. Or Bishop. ssshhhh!** When she brought his love interest in,  I thought "No way." But I was wrong again. Jax and Seven are so perfect for each other!!!  Like, I should really stop doubting little Miss Harber's wordsmithing skills.  (not that I really do anyway, I stalk her too hard for that nonsense. )   Though this is the last book in the Titan series, it will stand alone just fine. You DO NOT have to read all of the other books first. JAX tells Jax and Sevens story perfectl...

Edge of Temptation; A Shadowy Assassins and Titan World Novella; By Gennita Low

Image
Edge of Temptation is a great addition to the Titan World Collection.    The worlds of Titan and S.A.S.S. collide to create an action packed, hilarious spy thriller novella. Low gives us some great characters; smart, terrifyingly deadly, funny characters that I loved instantly.    There is something going on in every scene to keep the pages turning. Either those characters have done something else crazy funny, or they are amazing you with their field craft super spy skills.   Though Edge of Temptation is interconnected with Low's Shadowy Assassins Series and  Cristin Harber's Titan Series, it stands alone just fine. I am not caught up with S.A.S.S and didn't feel lost. *ARC Review*   Find All Of Titan World Here: Amazon :   http://amzn.to/2hGq18H   BN :   http://bit.ly/2hpQy9m   Kobo :   http://bit.ly/2gQkJG5   iBooks :  http://apple.co/2hDmwzN   The Shadowy Assassins Series: Book 1: Into D...

Bullets and Bluebonnets; An Ex Op Series & Titan World Novella: By Jessie Lane

Image
This book is hilarious.    Rolling on the floor laughing, my husband thinks I am crazy, and I choked on my sweet tea- fuunnnnyy.    There is some serious heavy sh*t going on, suspense and action, but Lane still has you laughing in every chapter. The Hero & Heroine she paired in this novel are the PERFECT match. Equal badassery and equal hilarity. I loved this book!.    As with the other Titan World books I have reviewed, I  think this one stands alone great, if you haven't read either the Titan or Ex Ops series. This is the first Ex Ops books I have read and I never felt lost. *ARC Review* Find All Of Titan World Here: Amazon :   http://amzn.to/2hGq18H BN :   http://bit.ly/2hpQy9m Kobo :   http://bit.ly/2gQkJG5 iBooks :  http://apple.co/2hDmwzN Ex Ops Series:  Book 1: Secret  Maneuvers Book 2: Stripping Her Defenses  Book 3: Sweet Agony  Book 4: Sweet Recovery Book 5: Sweet Eternity...

Rescued Heart; A Combat Heart & Titan World Novel: By Tarina Deaton

Image
Tarina Deaton is another new author for me and Rescued Heart has made me a fan. I really loved the characters Deaton brings us, as well as the suspense and deep heartfelt romance. Her characters not only fight the seen enemy, but are fighting some emotional battles as well. Rescued Heart features some familiar faces from the Titan Series as well as some new characters I had not met.  But if you haven't read the Titan Series or The Combat Heart Series, no worries, Rescued Heart stands alone very well. *ARC Review* Find All Of Titan World, Amazon :   http://amzn.to/2hGq18H   BN :   http://bit.ly/2hpQy9m   Kobo :   http://bit.ly/2gQkJG5    iBooks :  http://apple.co/2hDmwzN   The Combat Heart Series Book 1, Stitched Up Heart Book 2, Rescued Heart GENRES:  romanctic suspense, military romance, action suspense  SERIES : Yes, Combat Heart Series, and Titan World  WARNINGS:  dirty langu...

Never Mine; A Base Branch & Titan World Novella; By Megan Mitcham

Image
OMG. This was my first Megan Mitcham book, and y'all, now I am hooked!!!     Never Mine was amazing! The characters, the suspense and the steaminess were all perfect! I straight up love the characters. Jillian, our heroine is a total bad-ass-B! I don't want to spoil anything, but I love it when the leading lady is just as tough, if not tougher than her male counterpart.  Not that Callum is lacking, in ANYTHING, I promise.  She is just that cool.    The whole novel is seeping with suspense and combined with some intense action, the pages fly by.  I even got to catch up with some of my favorite Titan Series characters as well as meet some of the Base Branch operatives.  If you haven't read either series, no worries, Never Mine stands alone just fine.  I haven't read any of the Base Branch books and I never felt lost, just compelled to get my hands on them! *ARC Review* Find All The Titan World Books, Amazon :   http://amzn.to/2...

Going Under; A Titan World Novella: By Anna Bishop Barker

Image
Going Under completely blew me away. You would never guess that this a debut novel for new author Anna Bishop Barker.    Barker gives us some amazing characters. Real and intelligent characters who face the day-to-day issues of life as well as some major hurdles. The dialogue between the characters is witty and fun, and I really liked Becca and Max. On top of the new characters, some of Cristin Harber's characters from the Titan Series make an appearance. And I always love getting to see my favorites through new eyes. But, if you haven't read any of the Titan Series, no worries, Going Under stands alone just fine.    Combined with the great characters, there is enough romance and suspense going on to keep the pages turning, and the book in my hand.   I read the whole novella in one sitting, either giggling or tearing up the entire time... *ARC Review* Find Going Under and all of the Titan World Books here, Amazon :   http://amzn.to/2hG...

Deja Vu; A Titan World Novella: By Cristin Harber

Image
The Doctor will see you now! Doc Tuska is here, live and making women swoon world wide.    Fans of Cristin Harber's Titan Series will recognize Dr. James Tuska from his many appearances in the land of Titan through the years, and now he finally has his own book! Haven't read a Titan Novel before, it's okay, Deja Vu stands alone just fine. But it will leave you itching for more, more gunfire, more filed-craft, more action and more Titan.    I LOVED this novella. It was a perfect tie-in to Titan, and gave me a little glimpse of some of my favorite characters through new eyes, as well as introducing me to some new ones.  Harber includes all the usual ingredients required to make a Titan novel. It is jam packed with the action, suspense, and steamy steaminess that Cristin is so good at delivering. *ARC Review* Titan World Connected Stories: BY Cristin Harber; The Titan Series: Book 1:  Winters Heat   ( Colby Winters) Book 1.5:  Sweet Gi...

Bishop's Queen (Titan Series Book 9); By Cristin Harber

Image
My obsession with The Titan Group is becoming pretty well know among my friends. And the newest Titan recruit, Bishop O'Kane does nothing, NOTHING, to lessen this obsession.    Bishop's Queen, number nine in the Titan line-up; is everything I was hoping for, but nothing that I expected. The pages aren't riddled with bullet holes from some far away combat zone. No, the terror this time hits closer to home. We still get all the delicious tension that Harber is so good at developing within the plot line and the characters. But this time the boys are trading in their tactical gear for tuxedos, and the result is swoon worthy.    I've screamed it from the rooftops, again and again. Harber is like some amazing psychic, CIA trained, word wielding bad-ass. She had me teary by 2%. It's like she knows exactly how to reach inside the rib cage, and rip out a beating heart, make your soul bleed and then put you back together a better person in the span of thirty-som...
