Bayler and Fletcher are a mess, in a good way. They are both very driven people and both like the fun, carefree, single lifestyle. That is, until New Years Eve where they are changed forever. Bayler doesn’t want to handle heartache or the motions of having a relationship. She has set rules for herself that she will not break, for anyone. Is it possible that one man has the capability of breaking her rules, breaking down the walls to her heart and loving her? She thinks not, especially not a play boy like Fletcher! He is a successful business owner, has a great body and personality, and rules the bedroom! Fletcher got Bayler to concede on her rule of no repeat nights of sex with the same person, but could he get her to concede to more, or give her heart away?
This story was incredible! I caught myself laughing out loud in multiple parts of the book and getting strange looks from others who had no idea the gem I was reading! Their story was fun, flirty, young, and full of a type of love that everyone wants and deserves! This book was a breath of fresh air after reading a few too many serious books. This book will leave you feeling refreshed, happy, and hopeful. Anything is possible in life and love and Bayler and Fletcher knocked that one out of the park I think.
I loved that there were really two different love stories going on in the book, Bayler and Fletcher as well as Rook and Vail! Not only was there two fun love stories going on, but I loved that Bayler and Fletcher were both members of Big Brothers / Big Sisters. What an incredible organization and it’s great that Steph included it into her story. I think both couples learned lessons from each other. In some scenes I got the feeling that the idea trying to be portrayed was that sometimes we as adults have to step back from our serious life and just let loose and have fun. No better way to do that then chaperone a teenagers dates and outings! What a great thing to feel as an adult living in a far too serious world! Way to go Steph!
There are so many things I loved about this book that I could write much, much more. However, I think you need to take my word that you need to dive into Bayler and Fletcher’s story. If you haven’t started the series at all, then start with Book One Fantasized By You and hit up Wanted By You next. You won’t regret it!
